Emeritus Professors
Ioli Patellis, Professor of Modern and Contemporary Philosophy
email: patellis@upatras.gr
The Department of Philosophy was founded in 1999 following a proposal to the University Senate by Professor Patellis, who chaired the Department from its foundation to 2005. As founding chair, she was responsible not only for its efficient functioning in its initial stages, but also for setting it up (buildings, Departmental Library, Secretariat, academic staff).
