The Computer Center is housed in building K35. It has 20 computer stations for use by the students of the Department of Philosophy. Until 2004, the operation and the equipment of the Computer Center were funded mainly by the European Union through EPEAEK [Operational Program for Education and Initial Professional Training] – Expansion of Higher Education program. All stations have internet access and each student is provided with a personal e-mail account.
Students have free access to the Computer Center during its operating hours (except when the room is used for the Computer Lab Seminar. Students may sign up for this at the beginning of each semester). Students can use the Computer Center for preparing their papers and coursework assignments, e-mail, or general internet access. Assistance and training for using the computers is also available.
